Good deed of the day

Well folks...It's been a while since I last did a journal..But I'm not going to let it put me off smiley - biggrin

Tonight on my way home from work. I came across a beautiful chocolate
Labradorsmiley - dog. The poor thing was wearing a muzzle and was being tormented by a bunch of kids.

I took the decision to take thesmiley - dogoff the kids. I had come to the conclusion that if the smiley - dog belonged
to them, they weren't responsible to be in charge of it.

The smiley - dog followed me home, where I gave her some food and water and checked her over. I noticed
that she had a very sore nose from trying to take her muzzle off and also she had not so long ago had an operation.

I took her to the vets for a checkup and to scan her to see if she had an Identichip...Unfortunately she didn't.
The vet couldn't take her in, but did give me the number of the dog warden, who was off duty.

I decided to take her to the smiley - bluelightstation where she had been reported missing..I has to wait around for 30 Min's
for the owner to turn up, who look so relieved that thesmiley - dogwas found and very thankful.

He then told me that thesmiley - dogwas rescued from an abusive home and the state she was originally in.
I could see that now she's in a loving happy home by her waggy tailsmiley - biggrin

That was my good deed for the day...despite getting covered in mud off her and missing my tea...
It was worth the hassle to find her homesmiley - biggrin

Doghouse

I was doing some gardening this afternoon whilst hubby was catching up on some sleep...he works nights.

I had put the puppy in the dog run to keep her out of the way and so she can play with my other dog.

Attached to the run is the motorcycle shed....where hubby's pride and joy was parked.....drying in the sun after having a good clean.

Puppy has never bothered with the bikes before.....

until now smiley - steam

She decides that her toys where not good enough and started to chew her way through the front mudguard. smiley - cross

So puppy is now in the doghouse and is no longer daddy's little darling....

Until she next wraps him round her not to little paw

wirral egg run cancelled ....Again!!!

This time last year the Wirral egg run was cancelled due to a lack
of communication and decision making, between the local police,
council and the organisers.smiley - cross

The egg run unofficially is the largest smiley - biker convoy in Europe....
It's not just a get together of smiley - biker's and hang out all day!!!
It's to raise cash for various charities and donate Easter eggs
for the kids in hospital or care.

Well now they are saying that it's been cancelled Again!!!smiley - cross
This time they are blaming it on government legislation

Well this time I've spat out my dummy and pulled the head off my dolly....
I'm doing this egg run despite what the police and local government may say....
I believe that the run shows good spirit and generosity of smiley - biker's
and no matter what...they can't stop 6 thousand smiley - biker's from turning
up smiley - devil

Psycho moggy

I have a beautiful smiley - cat called Gizmo...Who is my bestest friend in the whole wide world smiley - magic

She's part British blue, very small and has the biggest attitude that I've ever seen in a catsmiley - cool

Well over the past month she's been poorly with a water infection and has been on several
courses of antibiotics, which still hasn't cleared upsmiley - erm

The Vet advise on performing some tests and having some x-rays taken to see what was causing problem....
well tonight I went in to the vets to collect mysmiley - cat and I get told that they couldn't find anything wrongsmiley - huh

The vet has now come to the conclusion that the root of the problem is stress...smiley - erm....caused by the
arrival of Drew my new puppy

SOooooooooooooo a month down the line and a £160 spent......what do I so for it....a plugy in thing
that releases happy pheromones to de-stress my psycho moggy and with no guaranties that it will worksmiley - sadface
