Mr. X ---> "Be excellent to each other. And party on, dudes!"

Incidentally, why did you change your h2g2 name from Count Zero to Baron Grim? I've always wondered.

Not that it's any of my business, of course, but I always preferred Count Zero. Sounds more cheerful, rolls off the tongue easier, got a nice ring to it....

Just don't know why you'd wanna' change it at all... smiley - shrug

Baron Grim

I chose the name Count Zero when I first logged on here back in '99 as I had recently read William Gibson's book of the same name. The titular character was a noob in Gibson's VR vision of what the internet might be. It was a popular online alias and even here I had to use creative spelling for my log on. If you search, you might find a few other abandoned Count Zero accounts here if they haven't been purged like Nighthoover.

So, when Auntie Beeb tossed us aside and we were looking toward a brighter future here, I decided to pick a better, more unique nick.

So, I took a clue from E Vibenstein and anagrammed my real name, Rob Ingram to get Baron Grim.

Yeah, I agree that Count Zero is a better sounding name, but Baron Grim fits me better even if it is a bit of a demotion.

smiley - ok
