h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello aurojit.

Just to let you know I have been given A2198603 to sub-edit. This is my first assignment since I got the badge, so I'll let you know what I am doing as I go along. If you have any last minute things to add, mention them here, and I'll know straight away.

I've almost finished this, just need to add some BBCi links, but let me know what you think.

Mostly I have just fiddled with the punctuation and spelling, and have anglicised things, for example using 'analyse' rather than 'analyze'. But I have broken up the longer sentences, I want to be sure that the sense has not been interfered with.

I have made the change you suggested. I must confess I had not checked those referenced sites. I have now, and notice that some are the same. Do you think the duplicates could be removed? I think this can be done by having the words you used in the reference display in the references, but keeping the linked word in the text.

Did you understand that (I know the explanation is not very good), or shall I change one as an example?

I guess what u r referring to is all the links which are there in the main article, but have been included again in the reference section. If this is the case then ya I guess u shud remove the duplicates, they r there mostly because this was my first article and I wasn't really conversant with GuideML code and how H2G2 displays entries.

I didn't get ur point about Dear Raed 'coz there is only one link. Otherwise the edited article is fine with me.

Sorry for the three day delay, I got a little bored (plus a few pressing college issues came up) and haven't really come around to this part of the net for sometime.
