Just came across this and wondered what you thought of it.

Not of use to those already trained in the classical notation system, but might be of use to beginners.

Hmm. Difficult for me to judge having spent a lifetime with Western notation. I don't see that its method of notating rhythm (ie note duration) is any improvement on the conventional one.
The other problem is the connectivity between the treble and alto clefs. While superficially it may seem confusing to the beginner to have the same space or line in the two clefs representing different notes, it doesn't show why that is, but put a single leger line between the two clefs (middle C) and the connection is very apparent.
Still if, like the Suzuki method for teaching the violin, it gets kids going quicker, then that's a good thing.
