I am orginally from California but I am currently living in Texas. God knows why because it HOTTER THAN HELL and the humidity is always about 100%.laugh

About me I am in my early 30's(no kids) and married for the second time. I am a manager for a large department store based in Houston. When I am not at work I enjoy cooking,entertaining/throwing partiescheers, and tracing my family genealogy.

I am also a BIG lover of animals! I have 1 dog named Harley and a green anole(lizzard) named Jerry. Most people think I am crazy because I take my dog to day care whenever I am not at home and I throw him a birthday party every year. Harley is just like my child but better because he doesn't want expensive jeans, he doesn't talk back and he never ashamed to be seen with his mom!

Harleydog is an American Pit Bull Terrier and is the sweetest dog you will ever meet! Pit Bulls have gotten a reputation so I love to show him off to people because he is proof that it's how you raise them not what breed they are.Harley loves people and kids all he wants is for someone to pet him and give him attention.

Jerry actually came from the wild. I had seen him in my house several times and then one night he crawled on my arm while I was watching T.V. After a month of him hanging out with me I got him a home, that was over a year ago.

I also really enjoy redecorating my house, which is why I like entertaining so I can show off my work. My house is a two story New Orleans style house with wrought iron and a balcony. You can tell I love red because my front door, formal living room, formal dining room, master bathroom and powder room are all red. Most of my furniture is dark and heavily carved. I also have several antique pieces from Italy. My house is a total reflection of me that's why I am telling you about it.

Other interest are the opera and ballet. I took ballet leasons for 18 years, 4-5 days a week. I even taught for awhile, but severely broke my foot and could never get on pointe again.

I am an Air Force brat, my dad is a retired Col. So we have lived many different places like Hawaii, Germany, Washington D.C., but we always seemed to end up in northern C.A.. My father went to the university of Texas and when he retired, after 34 years, went into business with a college buddy and moved here. My boyfriend at the time had gotten a promotion and was moving to Houston. He teamed up with my parents convinced me to move. The reason I stay here is the cost of living is great here! I would need to make 3 or 4 times the amount I am making now to live the same way.
