The coffeeshop becomes a restaurant...

I was going to open a coffeeshop but then found that a restaurant was more what suited me....it is still at the end of end of my universe and I rotate slowly towards it.
I think I will open my restaurant when I am about 45 and run it until my retirement (at about age 62). It will fund my retirement and leave a inheritence for children/grandchildren.
I am a college student(age 28) with strong interest in writing and all things culinary.

I am currently working on updating my calligraphy skills...tips and conversation about calligraphy are welcome here at my space. My favorite type of calligraphy is white vine...but I am only good at drawing the vine part...I can sometimes do the animals to go with it...I can never put any people in my white vine. How does one learn to draw people???....calling all artist to explain please!!!
The only thing that I can draw well about people are the eyes. It is the shading on the skin that I have so much problem with.
