Always good to 'meet' another Canadian here - I'm over on the other side of The Rockies, in Alberta. I'm still relatively new here myself, & thought I'd pop in on a few of the recent arrivals, just to say 'hello', 'welcome aboard' (so to speak), perhaps offer you a or & some ...or *digs in his knapsack, for the zip-loc bag*...some ?
I also like a good variety of music, as well as Italian food...actually, most food, lol. You can click on my underlined nickname above to visit my space if you'd like. Again, welcome Clio, I hope you become as fond of the place as I have, ok. Expect to be 'seeing you' around, before too long - just get settled in for now.

How're you doing Clio? Not too much going on, although I usually miss Fri. nights, so this might be pretty average. Thought I'd drop you a note, since I noticed you online.

Doing not too bad. I'm house-sitting and watching a nice little dog this weekend. Luckily they have a computer. (YAY) Im a little bummed from the blah weather but I have hope itll be sunny (or clear at least so I can see the stars) soon. Do you mind if I add you to my friends list? I've seen you in several conversations and you seem like an interesting person. Hope you have a good weekend.

Gee Clio, sure you can add me to your friends list, thanks for asking! I'll be having a fairly average weekend, being the Easter Weekend...most weekends, I'm at "The Suite" http://www.yardbirdsuite.com (I toss together 'finger food' there)either Fri. or Sat. night (often both), however they're closed this weekend. So I'll be spending time with the family, & might not be on hootoo here quite as much.

If you don't mind, I'll do the same ok.

Oh, just thought I'd mention Clio, that a couple of researchers (one from the U.K., one from Texas) are planning an extensive 'road trip' this summer, to meet with as many people as possible. And that would include visits to some Canadian locales as well, check U217918 , ok.

It probably goes without saying (but I'm saying it anyway), just leave a message at the bottom of that page, Clio. Thats how I got on their list!

Just had a thought Clio. Only a few minutes ago I'd welcomed a recent arrival, or 'newbie', that got me thinking of you somehow - she's also 27 & it seems nobody (before me, at least) had dropped her a note. Thought you might have something in common, just a hunch. You can get to her page/space by clicking on U225882 .

Thanks (or ) for popping in on Andrea, Clio & sincere thanks for referring to me as cool ! I think grilled cheese sandwiches're a big Canadian thing (not solely Canadian, more north american.) I've got fond childhood memories of grilled cheese sandwiches & Campbell's Tomato soup, as a 'comfort food' (cool, rainy day) type of lunch..

Noticed awhile back that you had popped by to welcome Amber, & had noticed you online just now...thought I'd pop over for a quick 'visit' - like what you've done to the page! How've you been? And how's Zoe doing?

Hey!
Glad you like the page! That was some hard cutting and pasting I must say Still a work in progress, I'm gonna redo the introduction soon.
I've had better days I must say. I was going to move to Vancouver with a good friend and go to school next year but my friend has decided that it would be better if she lived with her brother and told me I should stay here and work for another year to earn some more money. I don't think so. I'll get loans and a roommate and do it on my own, thank you very much.
On a better topic, Zoe is awesome. She is just starting to laugh and is slowly getting the hang of reaching out and grabbing things. She is adorable and sweet and well behaved and I'm going to miss her when I go to school.
Hope your doing well too!

Yeah, am doing well, nothing quite as exciting as a relative newborn, but I did have lunch with a cousin of mine, who's out here from Montreal, & I've given myself a weekend off from the club, although I'll be going over later, as a part of the audience rather than doing the kitchen thing, so that should be a nice change.
Shame things didn't work out , as far as your plans to move to Vancouver, sincere best wishes with the revised plan.

Being disorganized as well as a procrastinator, I didn't get around to leaving/posting you Christmas wishes! Hope you had a warm & happy one with the family. I spent mine out at my brother's place with him & his family, which included watching Finding Nemo Christmas day. Great movie! (Second time I've seen it)
Just spotted a newbie from BC, thought I'd mention him to you - U551747 ...also going to post cl & a few of the other Canucks.
Not sure when you'll get this, but all the best for a healthy, prosperous new year, alright!

And a merry belated to you too! Christmas and New years had its ups and downs but then again so does every other time of year. I'm one week into my second semester of classes and everything is going well...so far.

Well, let's hope it more-or-less stays that way, right Clio? Good to get a reply & good luck with the courses.

I'm going to need the luck on a couple of my courses, I'm taking keyboarding and I am not a very good typist at all. I can go pretty fast while looking and not using the proper fingers but I have to do it properly in order to pass. Bleck.
Hope your 2004 is good so far.

Yes, so far so good *fingers crossed & considering what to use as an appropriate burnt offering, etc *, '04 is going quite well. I'm not the greatest typist myself, partially because I had broken a finger bone years ago. I say 'finger bone' because it wasn't the actual digit, but the bone that extends back to the wrist. And to make a long story short, it didn't set correctly, so when I close my fist that knuckle's barely noticable - consequently, it just doesn't have the 'reach' that it should. I mean, it's fine for the home row keys, but I'd be making all kinds of errors reaching for 'o' or the period. Not to mention that I can't resist shifting my gaze from screen to keyboard & back...so, I'm hopeless!
But, I reaffirm my good luck wishes, I'm sure you'll manage...maybe I'll burn another offering for you.
