OK, my name isn't really ArnieP. It isn't even Arnie. It's Alan Palmer. When I was at school the top golfer of the time was Arnold Palmer, and so my classmates called me Arnie. When I later started using the Internet I needed a nickname, and Arnie seemed to fit the bill, so Arnie I became. When I signed on here at h2g2 I had to give a name of six characters or more, so I added the P at the end.
