Just dropping by before I hit the road to see if you tried it in goo?


If you did you'll have seen a big difference in the layout and things - stuff that you probably weren't expecting.

I hope that wasn't too big a shock for you.

When I first landed here you had a choice of 3 skins and I fell in love with goo. Years, and I mean years later I found out that writing guide entires in brunel was easier because of the tools available and that's how I drifted into it.

Anyway, now that the tools don't work with chrome I may as well go back to goo. I hope you'll try it for a while and give it a chance to soak in.

I did try, but the dark with light text just isn't for me

It isn't for everybody. It's a lot like marmite as far as I can tell - you either love it or hate it.

For my money brunel is the next most suitable skin.

mmmmm marmite......I lurve the stuff, we also have Vegemite here, although I find it a bit bland, and also one called Promite, which is my favourite, it is really meaty and salty.

I like meat and I like salt - I just don't like meaty/salty spreads, drinks or other things that aren't meat or salt.


Now that I think about it I don't really do spreads at all - no jam, marmalade, peanut butter - nothing. Does that make me ?

no, not at all.

I occasionally do strawberry jam, when I make crumpets.

But I do adore crunchy peanut butter on a slice of tasty cheese.... I think this might make me the one

I have a feeling, way deep down, that everyone is , not just everyone on hootoo but everyone in the world. We just all practise a slightly different type of weird than the person next to us.
