Hi there!
Saw this in the news and thought about you - recumbent on monorail:

That is rather gorgeous! I'll look out for information -- those things should go quite fast, with low-friction bearings.
I remember phoning you during my cycle up the Swedish coast with my brother in about 2004. That was a terrific trip, and I have written it up with photos . . . would you be interested in seeing it, if I post the pdf version somewhere? I have acquired a MeiaMe account that may do the job.

You've alredy been kind enough to give me a print-out complete with photos during a... hmmm... must have been a London meet? I seem to remember I did a little proof reading.
But I suspect the resolution of the photos would be better uploaded rather than printed, so yes, I'd be interested!

And I can totally see myself using a Shweeb to get to w*rk - not having to worry about weather or traffic.

Yes. You'd only have to worry about the speed of the person in front (or behind if they are speedier).

But then if you formed into a train, the speed would ratchet up with even less drag per pusher . . . this could be magnificent!

And environmentally good! (if that's the correct spelling or indeed word?)

If you happen to see this posting, what is the proper English word for the pause that usually comes halfway through a concert?
