Hi Jimsmiley - smiley

I am sorry I have not replied earlier.smiley - rose I am having my frount and back garden done today and I have got some potted herbs to be put in the garden. The decorating is going slowly and my wooden floor in the front room needs finishing off. Next will be my bedroom but that won't take much doing. The worst area is the bathroom and the kitchne cupboards. The bathroom is rather on the cold side even when the heating is on.

The last time I regurarly watched F1 was when James Hunt and Graham Stewart (I think that was his name, he was Scottish) were champions.

smiley - cheerssmiley - taJim the Doctor Who thread link is a very good one and I am enjoy reading comments on the programme.smiley - smiley

I think I may watched Tales from the Crypt. I also remember watching Tales of the Unexpected when it first came out.smiley - smiley

I do not know why I thought Jackie Stewart was called Graham. I think I must have got his name mixed up with another driver. I know of another Scottish driver Goutlhard.

cheers>smiley - taJim, I remember too when Barry Sheen got all those pins in his joints. I did not know about the No7 and Barry Sheen.smiley - smiley

I was born on July 31st 1963, 3 days early. I know Doctor Who was first shown in November of that year but not the exact date. When I ever go throught the list of Doctor Who actors, I remember Tom Baker but I tend to forget Colin Baker's name and Paul McGann. I remember first seeing Paul McGann with his brothers in tv programme set in rural Ireland in the late 19th century.smiley - biggrin

Jim I was too a fan of the Avengers both the original and the new one. I remember seeing re-runs of the original a few years back, where their boss was called Mother (even though he was a man) and another boss called father (but father was a woman) and I remember the release of the song

Tonight I will be sleeping on my sofabed and seeing what it is like to sleep in the front room. I get woken up at 5:30 am every morning with the sound of a noisy radio with crackling noise for nearly an hour. They got the volume of the radio high and the window open.smiley - yikes

Hi Jimsmiley - smiley

Here is some information I found about East Kilbride. In the latter half of the 20th century East Kilbride grew from a rural Lanarkshire village to become Scotland's sixth largest town. Now East Kilbride which is located close to Glasgow and on the main motorway routes, is a central base for business, shopping, leisure and a setting off place to go to many of the tourist places in Scotland.

I used to go through their when I was going to Glasgow from Ayshire by train or on rare occasions bus or coach.

Take care
