Hi Andy, Nice to meet you.
The truth is I am sick, can't talk... (Out loud that is)
So I'm home from work, being unproductive.
And you?

I'm in Australia.
It's just your usual winter throat junk and head cold. Good for complaining and not much else.
Glad you're well. Though insomnia may not be a good thing.
I hate to post and run, but I've gotta go.
Post back and I'll reply next time around.
Have fun
Wejut

Hey Andy, How are you?
Throat still sounds like I have a really sick cat stuffed down there.
Got a few minutes to spare so I thought I'd go and have a prowl around your page.
Sorry I didn't get back on sooner but it's either famine or feast with me. Some weeks you can't get rid of me and then others I'm no where to be found. But if you can be patient I will answer whenever I can.

Hey, that's so cool. Police force is a highly underrated profession in my opinion. I think it is wonderful of you to want to join and wish you heaps of luck.

I don't know what it's like in Britain, but one of the things they will fail you for in Australia is if your grip isn't strong enough to lift a person by one arm. I thought it was dumb until a policeman friend of mine told me how his partner had saved him from being blown up in a car smash by lifting him out with one arm.
Keep trying. I'm sure you'll make it.

So if you don't look GOOD in the uniform they don't offer you the job?
