Enjoyed a wonderful evening courtesy of Buena Vista Social Club Presents - ticket bought for me by my best friend. It was great to see such virtuosity and vitality from some seriously old duffers. The double bass looked like it was propping up its performer. The young singer had an incredible voice, the piano player was a mentalist; but the horns! Could drive a man insane.

They got a standing ovation and provided incredible entertainment.

I'm currently wondering what to spend the disposable portion of my next month's pay on. Currently in the running -

A Telecaster (which I'll play twice, then abandon)
A new swivel chair (nothing wrong with the old one, bar a bit of wear and tear)
A printer (for what, exactly?)

Or I could get an air conditioner. Balls to climate change, I'm sweltering. And it's not even June.
