I don't think there is anything anyone can say. I'd certainly be helpless if this was happening to someone I knew.

Mum has arrived with the family dog to keep me company. Had a phone call from B's collegues at work who are just as mystified as me. He left work in a good mood yesterday.

good that your mum is there - and the dog!

do you know his usual route home from work?

He takes on of four dependent on road works and traffic.

The good news is that he has phoned and made contact. He is alive and in one piece. He says he'll come home tomorrow.
