Here are some picks from the Amazon of a juvenile harpy eagle (about six months old). The photographers were brave souls who climbed up 100 feet to the canopy to get the pictures. That is pretty far to go to get a glimpse of a very big bird---fortunately since the chick seemed old and healthy enough the parents didn't take offense at the photographers---that is an awfully big and powerful bird that you don't want to make angry.

Hi Elektra! No, no safari ... just here at home, working on my art, writing and plants. Thanks a lot for the dino and the eagles! And also for the biophilia piece. I'm still reading it. Anyways, very interesting how in my life this has been coming up over the past few weeks ... biophilia, and Erich Fromm , from different places ... website mentions, and books I am reading here at home. I guess the Universe is wanting me to write something about it!
