FABT, will you be going to the January London meet-up? I'd still like to meet you; it was great that MaW introduced me to the furry model of you at the Summer Party, but I'm sure the real tribble is much more interesting.

I'm not sure about the january meet. i am still mega broke for the forseeable future and when it's a choice between a meet up and eating for two weeks then somewhere i have to be sensible. but the real problem is that i have just started uni again and this corse has exceedingly short holidays so i might have to be at uni anyway.

we'll see. but unfortunatly i think it is unlikely that i will make it.

Too bad. When I was in Uni (long, long ago ) the hols were always very long. I didn't have any money either.

long holidays are sadly a thing of the dim and distant past.

it's all depressing and everything. i save up for ages to come to uni. get here and have no money AND have to borrow some and then continue to live on nothing while i pay the money back. i'd like to clobber all those people that say students get a free ride!

i'd love to meet ripper and every body else. sadly i'm now even more broke!

i seem to be haemoraging money.

loks like i will have a bout eight days off at christmas, and probably have to conduct some interview in that time as well. so meet up is a total no go.

Maybe the summer one, eh?

i dont think i even get a summer holiday. there is some kind of weird arrangement that we are allowed a certain amount of days not in the lab. but we also need to start the reserach for the samll 15000 word dissertation that we have to write, so i think most of those days get taken up by that. i'm also not sure about ester. there is a break in lecutres but we have a long seminar thing, nearly a week i think, and several other tings to do, all out SDLPs have to be done by then, and revision, and essays, and reports.a dn we have a load of steale to treat which should arive after xmas. i guee i might come home at some point, but the chaces of that oninciding ith the meet up are pretty small. and i really dont want to go to london from here on the train. i'd be knackered for a week.

we'll see when they tell us exactly when we are allowed to be absent from here.
