They don't write 'em like that any more

Over the weekend I brought in the dozen or so boxes of my CD collection from the shed to the bedroom closet, after having cleared Mrs Gosho's old clothes from the floor and persuaded her to go through them and toss out anything she doesn't need or want - about 90% of them smiley - winkeye

So since she's out tonight I thought I'd have a quick riffle through them and play something as I haven't been able to get at them for more than 18 months. The first box I opened had 'In The Court of The Crimson King' (cardboard sleeve, 24 bit remaster smiley - tongueout) in it smiley - bigeyes

Where's me Gentle Giant, me Greenslade, me PFM, me Curved Air smiley - ok

A confession

Yesterday I went down to the local book store - a walk of about 10 minutes. I bought a book about the English civil war.

That's not the confession. The confession is that it was the first time for over a week that I had left the apartment complex, and some days even left the apartment! For about ten days, the furthest I've been from this sofa is the laundry room and the mailboxes. It was even the first time for 10 days I've worn a pair of socks smiley - blush

"Modern art classics like Tracey Emin's tent and works by Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas and Gary Hume were lost"

Oh jeez, just go to Millets and get another tent fer cryin' out loud, it won't be worth any more than the one that got burnt.
