Born in Beverly Hills, I made my escape to Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts at an early age. There I ate and grew and had great adventures on the mountain by my house. Few people know that there was a mountain in the middle of Boston, but I assure you it was there. It was no Monadnock, but nor was it a molehill. It was higher than my house, and covered with maples thick enough to hide in, and so, a mountain. It is not there anymore. One day a men came with metal stakes and orange spray paint and began taking measurements and making markings. We pulled the stakes out of the ground and carried them home like the heads of our enemies. We vowed to smash every window they installed. When the man who bought the Mountain appeared one summer day and began hacking wontonly at the maples with a chainsaw, I, went and stood in his way. He cursed me and threatened to call the police. Finally he went home. The land changed hands again, and though I won one battle, the war was miserably lost. Now there are vinyl coated two family houses with hideous concrete staircases that lead to nowhere, and people living in them who drive Mercedes SUVs, and talk on cell phones as they walk their poodles. There was nothing I could do to stop it. I had to go off to college, and watch its progress each time I came home. So I became a bit bitter. I found that a good way to deal with bitterness is to write songs and drink good beer. These are my passions. In order to fund them, I am studying education, in hopes of entering the lucrative teaching proffession (what can I say, I like kids better than businessmen). I am a staunch anarchist and agnostic. I am a supporter of good, and a detractor of evil. My favorite color is brown.
