I will if it warms up some and does not rain. Otherwise chores are a hassle.

It does seeming to be creeping along here, but it has been too long and too cold a winter (worse in the last eight winters)IMHO.
But at least we don't seem to have a flooding or mud slide likely here, so there's a blessing in that.

Creeping in eh
me too, *creeps in, drags beanbag under rock and hides*
My house is chaos and has to get worse before it gets better

Hey Daydreamers, here are some lovely pictures of luminaria ---odd megaart installations of the Architects of Air.

This I think has become a new coffee table art book.

I've just finished reading Donna Tartt's novel 'The Goldfinch', which is beautifully written. Vivid characterizations, unexpected plot twists and lots of luscious detail. That muses on beauty in a troubled world and suggests some works of art speak to people in an immediate and personal way.

Mmm, I have just lugged a heavy tv downstairs and into the boot of the car and am feeling very pleased myself for doing so, and for not dropping it.
Lovely link Elektra and sounds a great book MVP I keep a look out for it, or you could just slip it under me rock

Thanks for all your good wishes.
Been away for a few days, visited my parents. It was my mum's birthday on Friday.
peanut, I can relate to what you told about your mother. I'm glad her health is improving. My mum keeps falling and then she can't get up again without help, it is awful. She has a few cracked ribs form her latest fall, but seems to be on the mend--until her next fall.

*ouch* broken ribs, I am glad she is on the mend. I get what you are saying how one thing starts to run into another Bel, if I look back over the last three years I think there has been 4 months of those that they weren't dependent on me for anything
states of independence and dependence have fluxed a fair bit all other times
another life change eh

I'm just glad my parents still get along on their own. I live very far away, so if they needed my help I'd have to move up there. It's not a thought I cherish (but naturally, I would do it).

Peanut Posted Mar 30, 2014
Would you move back Bel, I wouldn't. I am not the only child, but we have always said that we would look after parents if, when the time came but if that meant they had to move when we did, or closer to us then that was the way it should be, not us moving to them, or staying for them

My parents have a house and garden--we have nothing, actually. Them moving wouldn't be an option, from the seaside to a big city--they'd never be happy here. I've grown up in the area, it is nice enough (if somewhat remote).
Neither of my siblings would be able to move closer to my parents, both having jobs they wouldn't be able to get in my parents' area (that's only tourism and agriculture there, and fishing).

Hullo luvs!!
Ahhhh found you through the subway static.
The Subway Static??? Good title for a story. We're still in Brighton, but there's a fault on the phone line, so can't get internet where we're staying, been in the void all weekend.
Best wifi source is here in Subway (takeway café), so that'll be wifi sauce with my veggie burger please. haha. Not possible to concentrate though, even though I could potentially do my finest work here, The Subway Static Chapters 1 to 284, but I will catch up with all postings, and get back to you all in a few days.
Went to a great VegFest at the Hove Town Hall over the weekend. We ate a lot of noodles, met a vegan bodybuilder, and had a great time, despite my cravings for caffeine, cheese, wifi and sugar.
Speak soon

hello darling, I can hear you, rattles tin can, tunes into static and possibly time delay
Have you ever thought about a dongle, which can be a good sauce of wifi but still has the element of fun in it, like your best signal *might* be when a feathered friend is stuck in a Grecian statue pose (?) clutching said dongle, while precariously positioned at the end of the pier, arm outstretched, while you go 'just a little while longer lovely' I am just about to post...
but we have found one to be pretty good over a range of experiences
love to you both

I'm glad you enjoyed picturing it
I the dongle, woodland with wifi, and hopefully in May we will be doing just that
So how is everyone, seen or done anything daydreamy, is every day life going well?
Puts on urn for Perculiar , gets out brandy, slow gin and I think I am going straight for the slow gin and
My house is untidy but things have been moved, still more to go but have been busy week with other things, dadada, dreaded paperwork, going to official appointments, anyway, yay I am nearly on top it and a lot has been sorted.
Also it seems likely that I will not be in a fit state to work any meaningful hours for a while, I just have to suck that up, go with the treatments. What I have found out I that I can do a some work paid or unpaid without blowing up my benefits. There are certain courses at college I can do, again very part time. So that's very good.
I would like to be doing both in September, one would be fine.
Deserves a slow gin and

Hello everyone, just checking in to mention I'm still alive! Over here things are going well, I've recently sold a couple of paintings to a Canadian friend, and everything worked fine, sending them over by courier, about which I'm very happy! I also recently joined the local bird watcher's club, although it is more than just watching, there's ringing of birds and conservation and atlasing projects so I think I'll be happy there! Still painting a lot, still writing, no big news there!

Happy your paintings got there OK and you have received payment for them, Willem. Bird guys band birds, instead of ringing them. Have a good time with the club. Also check your messages I've discovered some more studies which would interest you.
