Something like this anyway. I don't have and smiley - wah children here and the rain is pouring down, so I won't go checking the woodpile but wind is surely howling and smiley - xmastrees are flying. Both yesterday and today in these corners quite some flying smiley - xmastrees have been spotted. Not in this town, well, at least not that I know of. The tree on the town square was all there some 6-7 hours ago. But then the storm is still quite a baby. Compared to some other places.
Today it was the day to light first candle on smiley - xmastree. It was raining smiley - cats and smiley - dogs here, but luckily they have invented all those pots and jars for candles, oh, and umbrellas, of course. To the public event was just fine. Wet, but fine.
I was a smart girl, I heated to house in the morning. By now it would be quite impossible - the wind is too strong and it would just press smoke down the chimney. So I am safe and sound and warm and all that. Just a mild case of insomnia and other smiley - senior problems. But I'll see few smiley - doctors next week, so they can sort it all out. Or not.
Has anyone seen my woollen socks?

We are in the middle of a storm right now. Many bridges have been closed and ferries had to stay in ports. Colleague of mine was expected home from Berlin today, but I doubt she will make it back in time to go to w*rk tomorrow

smiley - pirate

Our local winter forecast is for warmer than average temperatures with more rain/ice and less snow. I hope they're wrong about the ice.

We just got the official forecast for December. Warmer than average, more stuff coming down. But they were not sure about the 'stuff'. Could be anything really, including cats, dogs and bicycle hoses. And snow.

So far only a guinea pig has dropped into my household. smiley - laugh And I am not going to feed it to cats and dogs. I better get myself an umbrella.

Not the best one, though. One is for sure - there will be a lot of wind. Maybe I should just stay indoors. There may even be a chance for black Christmas. It's ages since we had that.
