yesterday a nice drying day, so the weshing put out on line bit of (strong) wind to help drying, pulled the bloody hook out of the wall, half of line down - half of weshing back in wesher IT dried today - after repairs

It's a holiday, so we've been lazy. Swimming, then watching Youtubes - we found some old 'lectures' on there by very funny people, like Richard Armour and Jack Benny.

most of MY humour is built on the greats

so called "modern" comedians just tell a joke as such, but the greats added that something special to a joke(not learnt, but born with it)

True - that's why we enjoyed listening to Jack Benny so much.

ah, the big pond divide when young, we didn't get much American tv progs (we're STILL a backward nation in technology ) so when we finally got to see American humour, it didn't go well as such. But! then again ours coming to you was the same. Now with cables/satellites and better techno humour holds no barriers
