to be honest, I can't see our lodge lasting another 2 years, just on lack of members. We HAVE to pay each quarter a certain amount to the "foreman" type lodge - we are a "minor lodge" and each area has a "provincial lodge" that covers the minor lodges for that area. As numbers fall, the remainder keep having to dig deeper in to their pockets, to cover the quarterly dues and what goes into the lodge itself

the other lodges round here are in close-by towns and that would mean 
travel and not running for home timeor taxi's and that costs, to make a dear night outso if/when our lodge folds, I'll stop going to lodges (unless a fortune appears)
