Another good one in this highly enjoyable series.

I've spotted only one spelling error: the was – there was
Maybe a few needs for hyphenation, though.

Other things to consider:

I'd possibly mention the Type 3 first in the paragraph and state that they were the equivalent of the steam 'class 5'. It could potentially be confusing at first for someone expecting to read about type 3s but reading a few paragraphs about class 5s first.

As the articles should be able to be read as stand-alone articles, for people who've not read the previous articles in the series, perhaps you could add an explanation, possibly as a footnote, for some of the terms used in this article, such as B-B wheel arrangement, Co-Co, headcode boxes etc?

You could also include links to the following articles in appropriate places in the text:

A39617265 Weymouth, Dorset, UK
A302932 Bournemouth, Dorset, UK
A26151734 Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK: History and Notable Buildings
A280919 Cardiff, South Glamorgan, Wales, UK
A269787 Norwich, Norfolk, UK
A134740 The Channel Tunnel
A751961 Thomas the Tank Engine - The Books and the Characters

as well as possibly one or two of the rail-related articles too.

Hope this helps!

I agree - another good entry. I do have a couple of comments smiley - biggrin.

I did find the introduction confusion, though I am rather jet-lagged at the moment. I had to read it twice to make it clear what the link was between the Type 5 and Type 3s.

Otherwise good work all round smiley - ok
