OK, I've decided to put entries into Peer Review again, after I've published them in my Gnomon's Guide.
Here's the first.

Excellent
I like the structure of this, so the section about the reservoirs is very clear, and the sections at the end are added interest too

I've read this a while ago, but the vogons kept me from posting. A good Entry, I could only think of a few questions I had while reading it:
When exactly were the reservoirs built?
I imagined the much smaller. Would it make sense to give their sizes? Or add a sketch of a map or anything?
How long do you walk fro mthe car park to the entrance?
Are bicycles allowed around the lakes?
Are there any good picnic places you can recommend?

Thanks, Tav. I'll try and get answers to those questions and include them in the entry.

I've added the following information to the entry in response to your questions:
When exactly were the reservoirs built?
1883-1886
Would it make sense to give their sizes? Or add a sketch of a map or anything?
Upper Lake:
Surface area 0.23km²
Capacity 1.5 million m³
Length of lake 1.3km
Length of dam 200m
Lower Lake:
Surface area 0.12km²
Capacity 0.5 million m³
Length of lake 740m
Length of dam 160m
How long do you walk from the car park to the entrance?
The entrance is at the car park. It is 1.4km from the entrance to the first lake.
Are bicycles allowed around the lakes?
Yes, but they would only be able to go up one side of the lakes and along the dams. The path on the other side of the upper lake which allows a round trip is not suitable for bicycles.
Are there any good picnic places you can recommend?
There are no specific spots laid out for picnics and there are no seats anywhere within the grounds, but if you bring a waterproof mat you could picnic on any of the grassy areas around the upper lake.

I'll see can I come up with a simple sketch map of the area.

I enjoyed reading this, especially how it combines geography with local legend and history. I look forward to reading more about walking up and down the Dodder.
Is the area easy to get to by public transport?

Presumably Bohernabreena Reservoirs isn't accessible by public transport, and/or no buses stop by the car park?

Sorry BB, I read your question while I was in China and decided to leave it until I got home to sort it out, since my internet access was limited there. Then I forgot about it.
The entrance to the reservoir is not on any bus route. It's 2.2km to the nearest bus stop, which would add 4.4km to the walk - I could add that to the entry, but I'm not sure if it is reasonable.

Bluebottle Posted Feb 10, 2016
I think if you briefly mentioned that the only public transport to the area is a bus stop 2.2km away then that is more than enough.

Thanks, BB. I've reworded as follows:
The easiest way to reach the reservoirs is by car. The nearest public transport is 2.2km away at the Old Mill Bar, Firhouse, which is on a number of bus routes. No cars are allowed within the grounds of the reservoirs, but there is a small car par park at the main entrance. From here is it about 1.5km to the lower lake.

Out of curiosity, are the two lakes noticeably different colours?

The lower lake is darker but it is more overshadowed by trees so this may be reason.

I've read again, and the only thing I spotted was 'passers by', which should be 'passers-by'.

Only a month to go before St Anne's Day!
I read through this again, and apart from wondering whether there'll be floods this August, have no further comments...

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
