Hi <BB<, thanks for writing this
I have always thought the smiley looks like an Ood that has fallen over
Quick question - "If this giant brain dies, the whole Ood species dies too." - how do we know this? I mean, it can't have ever happened, or there'd be no Ood would there?
Going to point out a couple of things for you to adjust now, if you don't mind
Being born having to carrying their delicate brains in their hands ensures that as a species they remain peaceful.
=
Being born having to carry...
Baring illnesses, the Ood are a long-lived species.
=
Barring...
In contrast, Home reptilian Madame Vastra's coach,
=
In contrast, Homo
"and also House, a TARDIS-eating parasite from a bubble universe that controlled an Ood known as 'Nephew'."
"Among those House enslaved was an Ood known as 'Nephew'."
As you have already given us this information, I think you can safely delete "Among those House enslaved was an Ood known as 'Nephew'." as it's unnecessary repetition.
As no other Doctor Who episode implies that an Einstein is an Ood, this is unlikely to be considered canonical.

Hello GB, thanks for the thorough read-through.
We know that if the giant brain dies, the whole species would too as Halpen, whose family had ruled and studied the brain for 200 years. When the Ood were revolting and killing those who had enslaved them, he planned to end the rebellion by killing the brain. True, the Doctor, Donna and Ood Sigma stop him so we don't know for certain that total genocide would result, but the Doctor and Ood Sigma's reaction to this horrific plan give us no reason to doubt it.
I've tweaked that bit slightly.
The other changes have been made.

I read this today and had a few questions as I read through.
What/who is the Doctor-Donna?
"Ood Sigma appears briefly to the Tenth Doctor after he has broken the laws of time, proudly calling himself the Time Lord Victorious, as an omen foretelling his death. " - I'm not clear about what's going on here - who is fortelling?
Has Einstein often appeared in Doctor Who?

'Just a few simple questions' eh? time.
'What/who is the Doctor-Donna?'
I've added an explanatory footnote - you had to ask...
Ignoring appearances in books and audio etc, Einstein was kidnapped by the Rani in the Seventh Doctor's very first episode 'Time and the Rani', and was apparently a close friend of both the Eleventh Doctor and Father Christmas in 'A Christmas Carol'.

Thanks <BB<
Did you look at the Waters of Mars? My question about the foretelling doesn't seem to have been addressed yet.
