For me, *every* day is towel day.

There may be different terminology. Bar towels and dish towels are sometimes used interchangeably here, but both are much smaller and lighter than standard bath towels. They're slightly smaller than hand towels, and larger than wash cloths. You probably have different names for them, though.

I found some great towel plantpots a few weeks ago, so took a photo for Towel Day https://www.flickr.com/photos/sashaq99/17980496738
I also made myself a bag out of a towel a few weeks before Towel Day https://www.flickr.com/photos/sashaq99/17980521328 and used it to carry stuff on Monday - massively useful indeed

I've read several times that upper class people will think less of you if your towels are any color other than white. I've taken care to ensure that half my towels are white, and the other half solid colors such as green, blue, and red. If any upper class people ever visit me [not likely], I will hide the towels that aren't white. The elephant in the living room will be harder to hide .

Personally, I think it's easier to find what the questions are about, if the title indicates that... What was your intention with such a thread? Perhaps I didn't understand the whole question?

Be careful, very careful, what questions you ask here . The answers may well be to questions that were *not* asked. Or it may be *impossible* to figure out what they could be answers to .

Something about spending money on towels.

Just so they're ample enough for a full wraparound, have a deep pile and the price is no worse than the median and affordable.

So anyway...
I see a link titled "Ask h2g2" and that goes to a page with "Other h2g2 Forums" which also includes "Conversations About This Entry" which as far as I can tell have nothing to do with "How are you celebrating Towel Day?" or "Ask h2g2".
And yes I saw the "Please Note: this is not the place to ask questions about h2g2. You should do that in on our Feedback pages."
And yes, I get that you want me to start a conversation...
