C Hawke

I think that given her past (failed) attempts to revitalize her career, and her very low level of intelligence, if someone told her dying at 27 is a sure fire way to everlasting stardom, she may just do it.

You can call me TC

That quote:

"When we see the popular tastes and the popular opinion constantly being manipulated by all sorts of different ways, it seems to me popularity is a meaningless matter."

Wonderful!

Oh dear. I am very saddened to have points on this one. He's one of the guys who steered me into science although he didn't know it obviously.
I had the privilege to hear him speak in Birmingham a few years ago. A very good evening. I recall someone asking him at the end if he'd like to go up in a rocket to visit the moon and his reply was "No one's built rocket powerful enough to lift this frame up to space!" smiley - laugh

A true legend of the public face of science in the UK at least. smiley - peacedove
