Nice idea for an Entry, frood, but I think there is quite a bit more that could be said on the subject. I tried doing a Yahoo! search on 'toothpaste', and at the top of the list of results was a document about the ingredients of toothpaste. I recommend that you take a look - there's certainly some information there that you could usefully include.

I agree that it needs *a lot* more depth.
Also, isn't it flouride?
This is a good start and it's a topic that deserves a place in the Edited Guide - I'm just not sure you're there yet.
