Work has not been quite as hideous as I envisaged. I have a new policy called 'not caring'. I think if I can continue with this policy, with the simultaneous camouflage of 'caring very deeply' when significant people are about, it will help to make my career that much more rewarding.
Last weekend was excellent - another sober one, this must be the first time I've spent 2 weeks sober since I was 15 - running in the bright sunshine in the morning, an excellent driving lesson in the afternoon (apparently my clutch control is 'sweet as a nut'. Oh yes) and a spot of bargain shopping early evening.
