Univ Project retrospectively
frenchbean Started conversation Oct 9, 2005
Hey folks
Whilst you've been away, I wrote a whole heap of Edited Guide Entries on Orkney.
A2225170 - St Magnus
A2430172 - Food
A2265473 - Cliffs and Beaches
A2503388 - Italian Chapel
A2903843 - Ring of Brodgar
A2903834 - Skara Brae
A2903825 - Maeshowe
And of course A6069152 is in PR at the moment and is about an Orcadian, Dr John Rae, Arctic Explorer
Now, had the Uni been around at the time, I would have signed up for a solo project. But you weren't. So I didn't.
But can I claim Orkney as a project now please? I have more entries to write about the place in due course and it'ld be good to have my name on the list of Uni contributors
In the spirit of Universities who accept other institutions' qualifications and employers accept 'relevant experience' as the equivalent of formal University procedures

Sorry for the delay there. The University is one of those pages that we only review once or twice a week, and you posted over a weekend.
Which is all a preable to say *yes*, you can have a Field Researcher's badge.

Would my series on Roman Britain qualify for a retrospective badge? It was 9 entries totally solo, but done before the University was reintroduced.

It certainly ought to
Hey Jims ... Is there a list of projects somewhere? Those that have been completed and those that are ongoing? I've hunted the Uni pages, but can't find anything It'ld be interesting to see what's been done.
And I missed my entry A2497292 on the scuttling of the German Fleet when I made that list above

There isn't an official list - there were incomplete lists on the old Uni pages, but we removed them prior to the reopening as we wanted to focus on new projects. Jodan made a stab at a complete list though.
Having said that, it's a pleasure to present Elentari with a brand new Field Researcher badge.

Jodan's supposed to have a list of Ministers in Hypatia's administration, but I haven't seen hide nor hair of that either
There's a lesson there I think

I suppose that means I have to take it all back about Jodan Well, perhaps there's hope for a Uni Project list too
Thanks Elentari

You never know. I'm his Chief of Staff, I'll make sure he knows you want it finished.

You're part of the Government though, I just work for it.

Well, I don't like to boast about it...
He should be hearing about it by the way. Depends when he checks his posts.
