Florence is great - it has its own orchard and smells of fruit! The bus up from the town centre was a nightmare though, lots of local men harassing my friend and me and pinching our bums (we were only 19 at the time).
Glen Coe is fantastic and you can walk to the Clachaig Inn, which is even better.
Vancouver's Jericho Beach hostel was so great that I ended up moving here!
