h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

William here for a few days, probably until Monday.
Hospital appointment tomorrow morning; eye clinic to look at my left eye which had appeared to have a cornia leision on it; probably from the eye getting dry due to the chemo messing up the tear ducts...
Also have appointment, later in day wtih GP, to sort out some other possible ongoing chemo sideaffects, and interigate him, as to why I can't get the help with them, I should be, from the hospital; three weeks, still no reply from specialist nurse...0= also to find out if he's had reply back from head consultant regarding the missing letter from end of January that turned up, and the possiblity or not, of some lymphoma lurking inside my so-called brain

Went into town with W.
bought myself the most amazing fan ever! like a hand fan, you 'fan' out... this one is massive!; and all frily and girly and has seqins set in it, and cost one pound from the charity shop

also bought duck eggs, mushrooms, and, a few odments like choc from the supermarket after the veg stall I'm wording things so horrible. - ideas, notions form well in my head; but don't end up coming out quite right; this is so annoying... chemo brain I guess... like words matterialising wrong sometimes; mainly in speech.; I'll say three differnt types of drugs.... and only the final one will be the one I mean - and that when its a drug I've now been on, dairly, three times a day, for months - again; I know exactly which word it is, in my head... but... by the time it emergees.... 'hydrocortisone' ends up as 'circadin'.... 'paracetamol'.... etc., etc.,

had fewer hot flushes so far today, and noticed my sense of taste has ... done yet another 'leap' - I didn't even realise it was still on the ... nonnormal side of my nonnormality... - coffee t this morning and the scrambled eggs I made for breakfast... were... quite probably the best thing I've eaten in... so long... - mind, I was so nicely relaxed and very calm, mentally this morning, so it may have been more that I was just so mindful and appreciated the coffee,a nd the srambled eggs, fully, as it were; at the end of the day its all about perception... and I know mine is wonkier now than it used to be... and trust me, it never used to be like 'normal peoples' anyhow;
MMM... MMM.. that feels gorgeous (needle going into skin) etc. isn't... probably the normal perception of pain or ... stuff innit - I may have... further refind such perceptional anomalies the last six months

Going to cook mushroom risotto again tonight... As that is what W de said he' like but.. first... a nap I think
