Could I publish or share in other places an entry that is edited here?
I want to finish one about a plant that can be useful against desertification. Theres nothing in English in the web, I would like it was as much known as possible.
I think this place could be fine for that.But, what if I find an opportunity to have it published somewhere else? Could I?

As the author, you have copyright to your own text, and you are allowed to publish it anywhere you choose. It would of course be nice for h2g2 if you include a reference to your entry here on the site. 
h2g2 also has copyright, but currently don't publish anything outside the site.
