You can call me TC

I am flying to the UK next weekend and I just did my online check-in. I found it odd that they didn't ask for my passport number? Does anyone know what has changed? When I last flew (in March) I still had to give my number when checking in. Now they just wanted to know the place of issue and date of expiry.

I don't think they have my passport number saved somewhere because it didn't appear on the boarding pass.

And I thought security was supposed to be tighter these days...

Oh. Forget this. I've posted it in Ask because I thought this post had got lost.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I misheard teh security/customs bloke las t time I flew... I thought he said 'laptop', but in hindsight I think he said 'liquids' - due to which I smuggled a load of liquids on the plain, and hyperdermic needles and drugs, with no one any the wiser smiley - laugh

Security requirements are different depending on your destination. Flying to Spain I have to register my passport details in advance, but not when going to England.
