I am small town in my small country a 15 y/o kid shot his teacher, at school, during a class. The teacher was buried today.
We have very strict laws on firearms. Nothing like in the US or Finland. That kind of things happen in the US or Finland, not here. This was the first time it took place here. So, it's possible.
And yes, I w*rk as a teacher these days.

On a merrier note, 2 weeks ago I had my gallbladder removed.

That shooting is very worrying. What has happened to the boy who did it and the rest of the class who witnessed it?

The gall bladder left without causing any extra trouble. By now even all the four little wounds have healed. I was brave enough to remove the sutures myself.

As for the shooting, the boy who did it was arrested and is currently under medical supervision. The rest of the class has a team of psychologists working with them as has the rest of the school, both staff and kids.

On a side note, this kid too had a violent and depressive facebook profile. The police have promised to observe FB more carefully. We even have two web-police officers who are willing to assist anyone and also try to keep an eye on kids. Not an easy job, though. It's still more up to other kids to notice the troubled ones and inform either the web police or any other authority/adult/whomever.
