What am I talking about - it wasn't Stop the Week, it was Week Ending Stop the Week was something quite different, with Robert Robinson as I recall. One of those frightfully BBC arts and popular culture magazine shows that still exist on Radio 4 in the shape of Start the Week (9am Monday) and Midweek (9am Wednesday).

When I turned the light off and went to sleep last night I forgot to retune the radio from the classical station I listen to when I'm reading in bed, to NPR, which I like to listen to in the morning, so when the radio alarm woke me up just now I had to reach over in the dark and hit the button that moves the tuner up. But I pressed the button that tunes it down and came upon a pop station instead.

And since it's Halloween, what do you suppose was playing? Yep, *that* record At 7am So now that's going around my head, interminably
