A tip - if arranging a small plate of various yummie stuff and one of the items is diced chili cheese, don't add a collection of thinly sliced salty Italian salamis to go with it - it will enhance the chili effect

Next time I'll try adding something sweet instead, like grapes or water melon. Or maybe canned peaches, hmmmm...

Or chocolate. Chilli goes well with chocolate

I've been a bit quiet this month, I've been writing a new short story every day. No planning or pre-writing other than rough notes and ideas. Each day I sit in front of my computer, and write a story from scratch.

This is a lot harder than it sounds It's not going too badly though, I've got a couple of gems, two at least of which I'll be expanding out and working into my second book.

What I'll do when it's done is create a free/cheap ebook out of it. I'm intending to go back through and edit and expand the stories, round them off and finish them properly. The idea is the in book there'll be the finished story, then the author (me ) notes on it, what the thinking behind each story was etc, and then the original unedited story.
