Ahh, I see.
Well, I'll stick with my suggestion on the grounds there was this confusion this year about handing the lists in for the new players

No bonuses for unique items, and no effect on other players' unique items. That sounds okay to me. Thanks.

The deadline was 31st Dec, Peanut
I'm afraid the Game master has spoken and I have to disqualify paulh from this year's Game.
Next year's Game will be open to all as usual, including paulh. The deadline will still be 31st December. All lists will be submitted to me in secret to prepare and upload for the Game to commence on 1st January.

A simple suggestion.
Paulh has his own line, and own competition, so that all 'official' players can see, and be seen, how the game progresses
All rules, points etc apply to all, but paulh is not included in the final tally.
Adds a frisson of additional interest to the game and, if his list is like mine, all his chosen personalities will live a long and full life.
Just a suggestion that is also a compromise.
I'd certainly be keen to see how paulh's list fares.

Yes, it was a mistake, but it wasn't a deliberate attempt to break the rules.
