Are you enjoying Holy Fools, Caerwynn? I'll be waiting till the paperback edition appears but plan to read it eventually.

It is very good, MC, I finished it last night. I do hate that anticlimax feeling when you have enjoyed a good read.

So it is on to the next one:

Fragrant Harbour by John Lanchester

Did I forget to mention "How to Teach English" by Jeremy Harmer ... a right rivetting read if ever there was one ... juxtaposes nicely with Captain Bluebear ...

I've just finished The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and would recommend it wholeheartedly! I'm debating writing a review of it, but my reviews haven't been very successful as of yet. Oh well, I guess practice makes perfect.

Currently reading The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman and Flying Hazzard by Colin Bowles. I picked up the latter in a second-hand shop, it appealed to me purely on the fact that it was an import. Not as funny as the back cover makes it out to be, I'm having trouble identifying the plot and the style isn't really to my liking. But it goes quick. I'll soon be on to something else.

I am currently reading Bill Bryson's 'A Short History of Nearly Everything'. It is one of the most diverse, interesting and well-written accounts of so many subjects that I have ever read.

I have just finished 'Keys To Infinity' by Clifford Pickover, a mathematically mind-boggling book devoted to eternity.

Mr. Legion

The Assassin's Cloak - well, browsing it really. It's an anthology of diary entries from the 1660s to the the 1990s, with several for every day of the year. It's pretty addictive stuff.

That interested me in Samuel Pepys, so I'm also reading the biography of him by Claire Tomalin.
