I knew it existed but usually saw it as a result of staying up all night. Never considered it as a wake up time before then.

I've had conversations with loadsa peeple - see my page!!
I put some puzzles up on one of my user pages that Colin (Iceman) is very good at.
I kept getting ill.
my time on h2g2 had to be rationed (phone bills) and so i am down to an hour a day, maybe occassionally two at week-ends.
I decided anyone can call me by my REAL name now.
I missed ya.

i shall go and wander over to your page and check it out...
hrm, i don't understand how phone bills are affected by being online but that might be another odd british thing like tv licences (what ever that is- i'm not sure)
sad that you can only be on for a little while.. are you playing with email then?
i hop eyou weren't causing *too* much trouble whilst i was gone..

yes i have to pay to be online cos i'm linked to the internet through my phone line. my phone line which serves only one other purpose: wrong numbers. is internet free in the us then?

keledy Posted Aug 24, 1999
it can be free... schools have free access to their students..
and if it isn't free it is rather cheap 20 dollars (per month) at most for unlimited use....
the phone only costs money for long distance calls...

No it's more like a time for moving about the house without your conscious mind having much to do with it.

substances that look like cheese, but really arent... (velveeta is one) actually there are lots of varieties of chemically created stuff, all looking quite scary.

...more commonly known as GM foods.
I've just remembered another swimming pool story. This was a sign at a hotel somewhere:
"Welcome to our ool. There is no P in our ool, please keep it that way."

What! You mean that now Lance has retired from making Junkie Ullrich look like he ate too many cakes, he hasn't gone back to delivering the post for the USP. Those nice people who kindly painted his custom bikes to look like they were made by Trek?
