I have finished my subbing now.
I was intrigued by your comparison of the original novel by John Masefield (set in the days leading up to Christmas 1934) and CS Lewis' 1950 story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Was there a claim of plagiarism by Masefield or his estate?

I don't think that there was a case of plagiarism, they're just similar stories in places, but despite this go to completely different places. 'The Magician's Nephew' also has some similarities with Edith Nesbitt's 'The Story of the Amulet'.
