Just a typo. Under the section _Shinano_, last paragraph, second sentence:
"He ship was not in a fit start to put to sea."
I'm sure that's just missing a T. Also, "a fit start to put to sea"... I'm not familiar with that phrasing. I'll assume that's a nautical phrase and not in error. It sounds awkward to my ear, but as I said, I'm probably just not familiar with it.

Traveller in Time counting guns
"There is a summation of probably a lot of guns.
>>by the end of its life it had six 155mm (6.1 inch) guns, 24 127mm (5.0 inch). Its anti-aircraft armament consisted of 162 25mm (0.98 inch) and four 13.2mm (0.52 inch) guns.
I am not entirely sure about the ", 24 127mm (5.0 inch)." part however."

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Aug 5, 2015
Sorted. I changed 'start' to 'state' because I too don't think that's right. I'm ready to be corrected on that.

I've changed the sentence mentioned to "It had formidable secondary armament as well; by the end of its life it had six 155mm (6.1 inch) and 24 127mm (5.0 inch) guns."
Also, A87846853 (for ease of linking).
