Tomorrow, 18 June 2014 marks the 30th anniversary of the Battle of Orgreave.

As I'm sure you remember, Pinniped had his own running battle with the BBC over the excellent h2g2 entry he wrote on the subject.

Is now the time to publish?

I have no objection to it being Edited. I would want to double-check a couple of minor details – for instance, is Orgreave still open, as this article implies? I thought most collieries have closed in the last few years. Were there any other changes made to the later version other than removing the sections in italics?

Those should be considered to be minor concerns, I see no reason why it can't be published first and then, if a minor tweak saying something like 'Orgreave closed in 2012' is needed, that can't be done later.

(As an article that's been in Peer Review it is eligible to go into the Flea Market, but I'd be happy for it to avoid being diluted through that process as it works well as it is now.)

There were three versions of this, variously diluted. The original was the best.

I have no objection either. I had a brief look at the later versions yesterday, but this version reads well with the personal accounts included.

There's no need for it to go the Flea Market route, if all the Editors agree, and it's unanimous so far, it can be made edited/approved. I'd like to hear from Pastey and Lanzababy before I make such a move, though.
