Video Game Programmer

A strange individual (of type computer programer), who does the same job as an ordinary computer programer but is prepared to work for less pay and longer hours (see definition for "mug" elsewhere in guide). The reason for all this hard work is that the "video game programmer" believes that his/her job is fun, and looks forward to working on a really innovative project (which never comes). Also the thrill of seeing all those kiddies (or market stall holders) ripping of pirated versions of his/her hard work really helps to drive him/her into doing a brilliant job (cough splutter).
