Poets for Hire

1 Conversation

Spotted near Shakespeare's second favourite hangout.

Poets for Hire

Some freelance poets at work near the Globe Theatre. They have typewriters and are not afraid to use them.

Icy North writes:

I went for a walk at lunchtime and snapped these two on the South Bank of the Thames, near the Globe Theatre. They had attracted a small queue.

The blackboard reads 'Poet for hire – pay what you like.'

It's good to know that poetry is alive and well in the home of Shakespeare. And that the price is right.
