Another enjoyable walking entrysmiley - ok Shame the path doesn't go right up to the Martello Tower, though.

There was one thing I wondered about - being red/green colourblind, I struggle to tell the difference between purple and blue. Are there any blue arrows signposting other paths along the route that would confuse me, or would I be safe?smiley - huh

(Blue + red = purple. I can't 'see' red, so to me, purple is: blue + 0 = blue)

Can you see the difference between the blue loop on this:

and the purple loop on this:

Both these routes go along the same path at the start but split up later on.

I can reword if this genuinely causes a problem.

The only time it will be an issue is there the purple route splits off from the red, green and blue routes. At this point, even someone with monochrome vision could see that one route goes one way and the other three go the other way. Do you think it is worth adding this?

"Three arrows (red, blue and green) point up the hill, but the route you must take is the one straight on, indicated by a single purple arrow."

On a PC where I can adjust the monitor's settings and zoom in, I can tell the difference, but that's under ideal conditions I can control. Outdoors when the colours are getting slightly faded, though, I imagine would be a completely different matter.

I've had another read and only had a couple of suggestions which you can take or leave as you see fit.
Firstly, I didn't know if you wanted to give the total length of the walk in miles as well as kilometres (about 7 and 3/4s) just to give a rough indication of length to those who don't use km.
Also, would it be worth a footnote/tweak to say Martello Towers were also built in the United Kingdom and in various colonies etc too?

Thanks BB. I've added miles in the description of how far Howth is from Dublin, and in the length of the walk.

I haven't converted the individual distances along the track to miles, and indeed you didn't suggest that I should. It wouldn't really be practical without re-measuring, which I could do on Google maps if necessary.

I've reworded the Martello Tower to make it clear they were built throughout the British Empire.
