I can't help it, whatever situation I find myself in, either a song line pops into my head (mind you, half of the time I can't tell the song name or band name or both), or a line from my favourite book: Three men in a Boat. So I thought I'd write up my last Sunday morning by just quoting the respective lyrics from songs that fit somehow (even if it's often just some words from a song – but that's how my mind works. Whenever possible, I'll quote English songs, but there'll be some German ones among them, too.

• Get out of your lazy bed.
• Der Kaffee ist fertig. (Coffee is ready)
• Badetag, das ist ein schöner Tag... (Bathing day is a wonderful day)
• They Call me Lady Bump.
• Hair (I'm hairy high and low, don't ask me why, don't know)
• Old Red Eyes (they're only red from all the tears I should have shed)
• I just called (to say how much I care)
• Schalt dein Radio ein. (switch your radio on)
