Entry: A Short History of Cubism - A671799
Author: User Deleted (Robert & Axe) - U185566
Now, as you can see, I'm *not* the author of this Entry. I've submitted it to Peer Review because I think it's good enough to go in the Edited Guide as it stands. It meets the Writing-Guidelines and does exactly what it says on the tin - i.e. it's a Short History of Cubism.
As I'm not the author, this means that I can't make any changes to the it. So basically, it's in PR for two reasons:
1) are there any glaring omissions in it?
2) is it good enough to go in the EG as it stands, or not?
All comments welcome.
Cheers,
Number Six
(by the way, I found it when looking for links on Cubism while subbing the new EG entry for Prague)

I'm sorry, No6, but I don't think this is EG ready yet. The intro in particular needs a lot of work. So does the section on Early Cubism. It's a pity we don't have a responsive author around to work with on this, because it has great potential, but IMHO it is not suitable in its present state.
But maybe someone will see it here and offer to pick it up and run with it themselves?

Hmm, I see that I commented on this in the previous Peer Review thread, at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F81363?thread=202506&latest=1 I felt at the time that it needed more work, especially on the introduction.

The problem is without the author on h2g2 anymore you can't do anything, unless you can somehow get another author to take it on. I don't know if this is possible and it's something that the Italics (hint hint) would have to answer.
I mean I've found a pile of notes on Cubism of late and edit it, but I don't know if it would be fair on the author.
I'm willing to take it on if it's wanted. If not I'm sure it's possible for other researchers could write an entry on it using some of Roberts information (he hasn't been on since August of last year and has changed his password so he can't get back in) and credit him as one of the authors.
Well, I'm gonna be quite now, I see Bels is online so you'll probably know more on this subject than me

Hmm... if I was to propose a move to the Flea Market, and it got seconded, one could pick it up from there...
What am I bid?

That's pretty much the reason I scouted the Tourette's Syndrome entry - if it was ready, let's recommend it. If not, move it to the FM and let someone pick it up.
