I've noticed that I have to sign in much more often since the relaunch. There's no option to keep me signed in on this computer.
Not a huge problem, but it's rather irritating. Are there any plans to modify this?

Yes. At the moment the cookie gets set for one week. We did have it set for longer initially during testing but found that one week seemed to work quite well.
We're going to be changing this so that you can choose to be remembered indefinitely, or forgotten about when you close the browser
