A Conversation for What is h2g2's Place in Internet-land?

bunnyfrog will never die

Is this an ad for the h2g2 post or a genuine thing to contribute to? If so since my name is on the list my opinions are thus:

H2G2 is the thing to look at when a baseless project without a base requires a base to base itself on.

It provides a whole host of nonentities with greater combined flair, panache and general useful opinion forming capabilities than anywhere or anyone else on the planet.

The fact that h2g2 is open to anyone who want to be brave enough to sign in means that literally any opinion can be represented (as long as its within house rules naturally)

Thus h2g2 is kind of a condensed, refined internet in itself - the entire sphere of human knowledge can be found online, but h2g2 happily reduces that knowledge into something readable, preferably in less than three screenfuls.

So I say unto thee, the masses: h2g2 is deeply wonderful and without it the sum total of human endeavor would 'still' be spread to heck and back.
So more articles needed really.smiley - smiley

It is the page for a forthcoming article contributed by B to <./>ThePost</.>. As with all articles it is hidden until much closer to publication time which is 10am GMT on a Thursday morning. The fact that your name appears in the list means that she has quoted something you wrote on one of the threads about h2g2 and its place in Internet-land.smiley - ok

Mrs Zen

The article is the first of four, and everyone quoted in any of the four is credited with all four, mainly because I drafted it as a single piece and by the time came to sort out who was quoted in which section I was losing the will to live!

What that means is that 'your' quote may or may not be included in the first article, but you will be there in at least one of the four.

Ben
